COLEMAN 150 FAQ and GUEST INFO

ACCESSIBLE PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION


CARR is providing transportation for mobility scooters from Coleman High School (201 W 15th St)
2 – 30 passengers or 24 ambulatories and 1 w/chair & no more than 5 standees if needed.
1 – 17 passengers or 11 ambulatories and 3 w/chairs
1 – 11 ambulatories and 3 w/chairs

ALCOHOL


The following alcohol related policies are meant to help promote safe and responsible alcohol consumption at Coleman 150:
- Valid I.D. is required for purchase. A guest that appears to be 30 years of age or younger must produce a valid form of acceptable identification.
- Acceptable forms of United States identification for alcoholic beverage purchases are: Driver’s License, Passport, State Issued I.D. Card w/ Photo, and Military I.D. w/ Photo.
- Government Warning: According to the Surgeon General, women should notdrink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects.
- All guests must be 21 years of age to purchase an alcoholic beverage.
- Alcohol Sales will begin at 3pm and be cut off approximately 30 minutes prior to the end of the event at 9:30pm.
- This is subject to change at the discretion of management.

ANIMALS


Animals and pets are not permitted at District 1876 for April 18th.
Emotional support animals, therapy animals, or companion animals will be permitted.

ATM


There will not be ATMs available on-site.

BAG CHECK


Young Life is offering a bag check at 103 S Commercial for guests who want to store their shopping bags, or personal bags while inside the Coleman 150 celebration.
Bags can be checked for a $10 donation to the Young Life Chapter of Coleman.
Bags that are not picked up prior to bag check closing will be taken to City Hall.

BAG POLICY


Bags are subject to screening by security personnel.
Prohibited items include but are not limited to: coolers, briefcases, luggage of any kind, computer bags. These such items can be checked at the Bag Check location at 103 S Commercial.
Camelback backpacks are permitted but must be empty upon entry.

BANNERS AND SIGNS


ONLY pre-approved banners can hang from bar trusses or barricades.
ONLY graphics and signs provided by production can be displayed.
NO Flags will be permitted by guests or vendors.

CAMERAS


Professional camera equipment (e.q. digital cameras, detachable lenses, point-and-click
digital or film cameras), Tripods, bipods, monopods, and telephoto lenses will not be
permitted within gates due to Musician Contracts.

CAMPING/OVERNIGHT PARKING


Camping is NOT permitted. Tailgating in the High School Parking Lot is NOT permitted.

CELL PHONES


Cell phones are permitted as long as they do not interfere with other guests’ experience during the event.

CHILDREN


Children age 4 and under are granted access without a wristband, accompanied by an adult with a wristband.

CODE OF CONDUCT


Coleman 150 strives to ensure that all guests have a family-friendly experience during our celebratory event. Event Management reserves the right, in its sole discretion to refuse admission to or eject any person(s) whose conduct is deemed inappropriate or detrimental to the enjoyment or safety of others.


The following actions are violations of the Guest Code of Conduct:
- Fighting, taunting, instigating or encouraging any action that may harm, endanger, threaten, or bring discomfort to anyone
- Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, or national origin
- Any action that causes a disruption, creates an unsafe environment or interferes with the event including throwing or dropping any object on the grounds
- Actions that impair others’ ability to enjoy the event, including mistreatment of other guests, verbal abuse, harassment, profanity, confrontation, intimidation, or threatening and irresponsible behavior
- Unreasonably obstructing the view of other guests
- Failure to follow the directions of staff and/or law enforcement, including refusal to produce proof of wristband or refusal to submit to security screening inclusive of physical searches prior to entering
- Sitting in a location marked as reserved without proper credentials
- Possession or consumption of illegal or prohibited drugs or substances
- Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment or substance abuse that results in irresponsible behavior
- Smoking within covered spaces, including the use of vaporizers and e-cigarettes
- Possession of any item listed on the event’s prohibited items list
- Clothing that is deemed offensive, obscene, or inappropriate by staff
- Damage, destruction, vandalism, or theft of any property
- Any action that violates local, state, federal, or District 1876 policies


Guests are encouraged to report any violation of this Code of Conduct to security staff, police officers, or any member of the Event or City Staff.

CONCERTS


All guests with wristbands have access to the Locals Stage Concerts from 11am-5pm and the main stage concert on the 1876 amphitheater stage. Concerts will also be viewable from College and Commercial via feed from the park.

CONCESSIONS


A variety of food and beverage options are available throughout District 1876. Visit local eateries on Commercial and the surrounding downtown area for more local flavor. We encourage guests to visit the park food trucks on Cottonwood and Liveoak, as well as the NA Bev stands at the "watering hole" onsite.

DRONE/UAV POLICY


The use of any unmanned aircraft systems, radio-controlled model aircraft, and other devices that can be operated in airspace (i.e., drones) on District 1876 property is strictly prohibited.

DROP-OFF


Vehicles without a valid event parking pass are not permitted within the street barricades.

EMERGENCIES


In case of an emergency, please notify the nearest EVENT STAFF OR CITY STAFF member or visit the onsite medical tent. In the event of a serious emergency, please follow the instructions of event staff, event security, and law enforcement officers. Important information will be broadcast on the PA systems and video boards.

FACILITY MAINTENANCE


Maintenance or facility issues can be reported to the EVENT STAFF team.

FIREARMS


Weapons of any kind, including but not limited to guns, ammunition, knives, pepper spray, handcuffs and nightsticks are strictly prohibited.

FIREWORKS


District 1876 may use fireworks and other pyrotechnics throughout the event as part of displays and ceremonies. Guests are not permitted to bring or use fireworks, explosives, or other incendiary devices while on District 1876 property.

FIRST AID/MEDICAL


We have one “MEDICAL” location onsite at the corner of Peach and Pecos and available within our venue during our event. A permanent First Aid station is located on Liveoak for longer-term care.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE


See CONCESSIONS. Outside food and beverage is not permitted.

GATE TIMES


Gates will open at 11am. Park closes at 10pm.

GATES/ENTRY


Entry gates are located on Liveoak at the intersections of Frio and Pecos.
Security and Event Management, in their sole discretion, may refuse admission to or eject any guest who fails to comply with the Code of Conduct (see CODE OF CONDUCT). By entering District 1876 Park, each guest expressly agrees to the terms and conditions outlined within this notice.

INCLEMENT WEATHER


RAIN OR SHINE

Event Management is keeping a close eye on the weather during our event. If lightning is detected within 3 miles, announcements will be made on the PA systems with information on where to seek shelter. The NWS and Event Management will make decisions on the status of on-stage activity if conditions are no longer safe.

LOST AND FOUND


Found items should be turned into the MEDICAL tent. Unclaimed items will be turned into City Hall at the end of the day.


Items recovered will be held for 14 days, with unclaimed items donated to charity.
Cornerstone AND the City of Coleman, is NOT responsible for lost items on-site.

LOST CHILDREN/PERSONS


Lost children should be reported to the nearest EVENT STAFF OR CITY STAFF team member or brought to the MEDICAL tent near Peach and Pecos. Team members will be able to file a report with our emergency teams and support will be dispatched immediately.

MERCHANDISE


There are several merchandise opportunities on Commercial Avenue through local retailers as well as the Official 150th Merch available onsite at the “Merch” tent. The main stage performers will also have merch available from:

4pm - Sell Out: Aaron Watson

OFF-SITE SHUTTLES

Shuttles will transport guests from Coleman High School (201 W 15th St) from 10:30am-12am. Drop off will be at the Coleman Courthouse 10:30am-11pm and Pick up/drop off from RLVenue from 11pm-12am. Shuttles will loop all day.

PARKING


Street Parking will be permitted on NON-Barricaded streets. MUST follow right of way traffic laws.

PERMITTED ITEMS


The following items are permitted within the gates at District 1876 Park:
- Baby Strollers
- Binoculars
- Blankets
- Camelbacks (must be empty)
- Personal camera equipment (e.q. digital cameras, detachable lenses, point-and-click digital or film cameras). Note that tripods, bipods, and monopods will not be permitted.
- Portable, collapsible chairs
- Sunscreen (plastic bottle only, no aerosol cans)
- Umbrellas (small, hand-held style)

PROHIBITED ITEMS


For the safety of all guests, all patrons are subject to search prior to entry.
Guests are prohibited from bringing the following items within the gates at District 1876 Park:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Animals or pets (exception for service animals)
- Bags larger than standard purses or backpacks,
- Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, skates, Segways, golf arts, or other unauthorized means of transportation
- Coolers, thermoses, or ice chests
- Drones
- Food and beverages
- Fireworks, explosives, or other incendiary devices
- Glass containers of any kind
- Illegal substances
- Items that may be deemed a safety hazard or annoyance to participants or guests (i.e. balls, Frisbees, balloons, projectiles, horns, radios, bells, whistles, musical instruments, laser pointers, etc.)
- Non-collapsible chairs
- Tents or canopies

- Unauthorized promotional or commercial material
- Weapons of any kind, including but not limited to guns, knives, pepper spray, handcuffs, and nightsticks

RE-ENTRY POLICY


Re-entry is permitted during 11am-9:30pm. Guests will be subject to another screening by security personnel upon re-entery and should use the "wristband" noted lane at the entry gates.

RESTROOMS


There are brick-and-mortar restrooms as well as restroom banks located on Cottonwood. ADA Accessible restrooms available.

SECURITY PROCEDURES


All bags, purses, backpacks and persons are subject to screening by security personnel. Guests entering the park should prepare accordingly. Guests should be aware that there are no provisions for returning banned items to them when such items are left at the gates/entrances. Patrons are encouraged to leave all banned items at home or in their vehicles before entering the park. Individuals who deliberately attempt to bring banned items through security checkpoints are subject
to removal from the park.

SIGNS


Coleman 150 welcomes small signs as long as they meet the following requirements:
- Must relate to the event
- May not be attached to a stick or pole
- May not be larger than 11” x 17” when open
- May not obstruct any sponsor or advertiser signage or event decor
- May not be hung, attached, or displayed on any part of the venue
- May not contain or display obscene/offensive language and/or pictures, as determined by Event Management
- May not be constructed or displayed in a manner that may obstruct the view of other guests, or in any way create a safety hazard for others as determined by Event Management.


Guests may not distribute pamphlets, advertisements, brochures, or other promotional materials while inside the venue without prior approval from Event Management.

SMOKING

Smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices is strictly prohibited in all indoor or covered facilities or restrooms.

STROLLERS


See PERMITTED ITEMS.

WRISTBANDS


5,000 pre-registered guests will be allowed access inside the gates.
500 non-registered Coleman residents will be allowed, on a first-come first-serve basis, at the gates.

TRANSPORTATION


See PARKING or OFF-SITE SHUTTLES.

VIDEO RECORDING


Video cameras or any type of professional recording devices will not be permitted inside the gates due to Musician contracts.

VIP & HOSPITALITY PACKAGES


DEADLINE PAST for purchasing.

 

NO ONSITE PURCHASING.


Pavilion Hill will be closed access beginning at 5pm.

WATER STATIONS


Hydration stations are not available.
Water is available for purchase at bar/concession tents for $2.

WRISTBAND FAST PASS


Coleman residents may pick up your wristbands at city hall between 3pm - 8pm on Friday, April 17th. All guests who have their wristbands on day-of can use the designated "wristband" lane for faster entry.
